We
saddled up in the morning and rode most the day. Headed out toward
the monuments to meet Old Spider Bill. The monuments lay in half
shadow of a late afternoon setting sun. We left a trail of dust
behind as we rode our tired horses toward monsoon storm building
over a distant mesa several miles away,
